1v1 typing duels, settled in USDC on Solana

TypeBag is a head-to-head typing race you can put money on. Two players get the same passage at the same instant, and the first one to type it correctly wins the pot. There is no dealer, no random number generator and no house edge on the outcome: the only thing between you and the money is how fast and how accurately you type.

1. Pick a stake

Stakes are free ($0), $1, $3, $5 and $10, all in USDC. The free tier is unrated and open to everyone: any skill level can match any other, nothing moves your rating, and you can play it without an account at all. Paid tiers are rated: every duel moves your per-tier rating and your global MMR, and matchmaking uses them to find you someone close to your speed.

2. Get matched

Join the queue and matchmaking pairs you with another player at the same stake. Median time to a match at the popular tiers is a few seconds; thinner tiers can take longer, and you can cancel any time before the countdown starts. If nobody is around, you have two alternatives that don't require waiting:

Ghost duels: race a recorded run from a real player, keystroke for keystroke, so a quiet queue never means a dead lobby.
Private matches: send a challenge link to a friend and duel them directly, at whatever stake you both agree on, with no queue at all.

3. Race the passage

Both players get an identical passage, roughly 30 to 60 seconds of typing. You see your opponent's progress live as they type. Every keystroke is streamed to our server and validated there against the expected character: the server, not your browser, decides your WPM, your accuracy and who finished first. The client is a viewer.

4. Winner takes the pot

The pot is both stakes combined, minus a flat 10% rake. Two $5 stakes make a $10 pot and the winner walks away with $9. The rake is the only fee: there is no deposit fee, no withdrawal fee beyond network gas, and no cut of your balance for sitting idle. Free-tier duels have no pot and no rake.

Winnings land in your balance the moment the race ends. There is no clearing window, no pending period and no minimum before you can take money out.

5. Withdraw whenever

Deposits and withdrawals are on-chain USDC on Solana. Sign up with an email or a Google account and you get an embedded Solana wallet automatically: no seed phrase to write down, no extension to install, and you can export the key at any time if you want custody elsewhere. Withdrawals typically confirm in well under a minute. Large withdrawals get a manual review pass before release, which is a fraud control, not a hold on your funds.

Fair play

Real money attracts scripts, so anti-cheat runs on every paid duel and it runs server-side:

Timing physics: keystroke intervals below what a human hand can produce are rejected outright.
Speed ceilings: sustained and burst WPM above the range of the fastest recorded human typists is flagged.
Statistical anomaly detection: a run far outside your own history, or the platform's, gets flagged for review.
Device binding: browser fingerprinting catches one person running several accounts against each other.

Flagged games hold the payout pending a human review rather than banning automatically, so an unusually good run by an unusually good typist gets looked at instead of punished.

Where you can play

Real-money play is restricted by jurisdiction. Several countries and a handful of US states are blocked outright, and we check your region before you can deposit.
